Blackglass
Our Story

Why BlackGlass Exists

I spent years watching the same pattern in the trading space. A new product launches with incredible backtest results. People sign up. Months later, the results don't match. The product quietly disappears. The founders move on to the next thing.

The problem was never the technology. The problem was incentives. If the person selling you a trading system doesn't use it with their own money, their incentive is to sell you, not to build something that works.

So BlackGlass was built differently. An autonomous AI trading system designed for US equities (via Alpaca — currently paper, live is the next phase) and with adapters in place for crypto venues. Multi-strategy ensemble. Adaptive models. Risk management on every trade.

The system is currently in paper trading. Live trading is the next phase. The AI makes decisions, manages risk, and executes orders without manual intervention — and because the goal is real capital deployment, every loss is treated as data, not hidden.

Now I'm opening it up. Not to sell courses, not to run a signal group. To let others watch the system operate in real time, and — for those who want to own it — acquire the full source code and run it on their own infrastructure with their own broker accounts. Full transparency: every trade visible, every win and every loss shown. No promised returns.

What Makes This Different

The plan is for the founder's capital to be at risk on the same system you use, the moment paper trading transitions to live. In a space full of fake results and hidden incentives, skin in the game is the only trust signal that matters — and the system will be run live alongside users, not hidden from them.

No cherry-picked backtests. No inflated numbers. No hiding losses. If the AI has a bad day, you see it. If the system underperforms, you see it. The transparency isn't a marketing angle—it's the foundation.

The Vision

Institutional-grade algorithmic trading has always been locked behind hedge funds and proprietary desks. The technology exists. The data exists. What didn't exist was a way to give regular traders access to it without the usual bullshit.

That's what BlackGlass is building. An autonomous AI trading system that anyone can use, with the same transparency and accountability you'd expect from a system designed for real capital deployment.
